The Zippling Hot Deal Board is a space created to help Canadian international students share useful and reasonably priced products or services with each other, promoting smart consumption. To ensure we can all share enjoyable and trustworthy hot deal information, please adhere to the following guidelines!
1. Basic Principles for Posting Hot Deals
- Accurate Information: All hot deal information you post must be accurate and based on facts.
- Usefulness for Students: Please share hot deals that are genuinely helpful to Canadian international students.
- Reliability: Do not post hot deals with unclear sources or those suspected of being fraudulent.
2. Hot Deal Post Creation Rules
- Mandatory Information: Hot deal posts must include the following information:
- Product/Service Name: Accurate name
- Discounted Price: Final purchase price (specify whether tax and shipping are excluded)
- Original Price/Regular Price: Price before discount
- Discount Rate (Optional): Specifying the discount rate is highly recommended.
- Purchase Link: An accurate link directly to the hot deal page
- Discount Period/End Date: The period during which the hot deal is valid or its end date (if undetermined, state 'Period Undetermined')
- Shipping Information: Availability of shipping within Canada, shipping fees, customs duties, etc. (if applicable)
- Brief Description: Useful information for users such as the hot deal's features, advantages, and precautions.
- Clear and Concise: The title should clearly convey the hot deal's content at a glance, and the description should be concise.
- No Duplicate Posts: Please do not post hot deals that have already been shared. (Use the search function to check)
- Request for Modification upon Expiration/Change: If a hot deal has expired or its information has changed, the original poster should modify the content or inform others via a comment. If other users discover this, please also inform us in the comments.
3. Prohibited Hot Deal Posts and Activities
- Illegal Hot Deals: Absolutely no hot deals for illegal products, services, or those promoting unlawful activities may be posted.
- Personal Sales/Promotional Purposes: The hot deal board cannot be used for personal item sales or to promote your own business/service. (Only hot deals for pure information sharing are allowed)
- Fraud/Phishing/Spam Posts: All types of fraudulent, phishing, or spam-like posts that could harm or confuse users are strictly prohibited.
- Abuse of Referral Codes/Links:
- As a general rule, posting referral codes/links for personal gain is prohibited.
- However, it may be permitted only in cases of specific events or partnerships officially approved by the community administrators, and in such cases, it must be clearly stated that 'Referral Code Included'.
- Violation of this rule may result in post deletion and activity suspension.
- Promotion of Other Communities/Sites: The hot deal board cannot be used to promote other communities or websites unrelated to Zippling.
4. Actions for Guideline Violations
Zippling may take appropriate measures, including deletion, modification, relocation of posts, temporary suspension of activity, or permanent account suspension, without prior notice for posts or users who violate the hot deal board guidelines. In cases of serious violations or legal infractions, information may be provided to relevant authorities.
